We are looking for an exceptional person to join the Client
Services team in a role involving both presales and post-sales
consulting. This is an extremely varied and high-profile role
with a real opportunity to make your mark. You will:
- Meet clients even before a sale is made to begin the process
of understanding their needs and influencing their thinking
- Participate in or run appropriate workshops, both to generate
and to refine ideas and provide training
- Devise creative ways around obstacles and un-stick stuck
situations
- Provide consulting throughout the project lifecycle, continually
using your experience and influence to guide the project
to success
- Feedback your knowledge of client needs to Product Management
and Engineering
- Work with partners to explore symbiotic possibilities
You should have worked for some time in a customer facing consulting role for
either a software vendor, professional services organisation
or systems integrator and have developed excellent communication
skills. This role is a mix of both business as well as technical
consulting so it is likely that your background will include
experience of at least SOME of the following:
- Document management or document centric workflows eg Documentum
OR Enterprise Content management OR Enterprise CRM applications
- Architecting, designing and implementing multi-tier, internet
connected systems
- SOME of: C++, Java, J2EE, VB, HTML, XML, ASP, Perl, JavaScript, VBScript, EJB
